Why does my Mercedes say Mercedes me connect services Limited? ›

This is a status message. It appears whenever a diagnostic unit, e.g. XENTRY Diagnostics or a third-party adapter from the free accessories trade, is connected to the on-board diagnosis (OBD) interface, triggering diagnostic queries on the diagnostics CAN.

Go to the Mercedes me Portal, click on 'Your Vehicles' and select the relevant vehicle. Then click on 'Manage Co-users' in the 'Mercedes me connect' section. You can use the 'Invite Co-user' function to send an invitation by entering an email address. You and the invited person will be informed by email.

Mercedes me assist: Gives you easy access to essential information about your vehicle, such as tutorial videos and your owner's manual. Mercedes me connect: Allows you remote access to your vehicle via your smartphone or another smart device. It also includes vehicle location tracking.

Activation of the services generally takes place immediately after they have been purchased. If you have purchased a new vehicle which includes services as bonuses, they are available for use as soon as you have paired the vehicle, you have activated the services and agreed to the Mercedes me terms of use.

mbrace® Connect provides connected car services via the Mercedes me app and is free for five years, starting on the original date of purchase. Balance of your trial can be transferred to subsequent owners. Once expired, mbrace Connect will be available with a paid subscription to mbrace Secure or mbrace Entertain.
